Finally is taking place in Düsseldorf GLASSTEC 2022, the most important meeting place for the glass industry 20-23 September

Glasstec, the most important international fair of the glass industry, is going to take place again and Video Systems will be present at Hall 14 | Stand 14G56. It will be the occasion to introduce IMAGO, the comple range of solutions for the glass quality controll developed by the Company.

Video Systems will present the new catalogue IMAGO, with its 9 high performing solutions developed for a demanding customer who takes in great consideration efficiency, cost-effectiveness and sustainability. All the IMAGO solutions are equipped with AI and IIoT technologies and use special cameras developed according to the needs and requirements of the glass sector; they are also equipped with advanced connectivity technology to grant a remote control of the machines in real time and a reduction of costs. In addition, the ethernet connection of the machines allows the monitoring of the production plant, the collection of production data and the direct connection with the management system for a complete 4.0 production approach.

We are going to display in our stand Oculus and Vertigo, the 2 most successful solutions for the glass quality control. The machines will be at disposal of customers and visitors for demos.

• Oculus

Oculus is a solution for the detection of cuts and defects on the containers and it is a substitute of the traditional pointing machines. Developed to empower the existing carousel machines on the market, it replaces the traditional pointing solutions with an innovative solution characterized by reduced dimensions. Oculus is completed by MICRO SPOT, the powerful illuminator that issues a light beam that detectst he defects also on very heavy bottles.

The easy installation and an increasing performance of a rotative empowered with Oculus grants a quick ROI and increases the efficiency and effectiveness in controls.

Developed in 2009, today Oculus is the benchmark to upgrade the rotative systems.

• Vertigo

VERTIGO  is the laboratory contactless quality control systems that monitors:

• Verticality of the container
• Crooked neck deviation
• Labelling area flatness
• Container roundness
• Measuring and calibrating diameters
• Measuring height of containers

It can be used in laboratory or directly on production lines (cold-end) and in the hot-end area for checking.
