In 2025, Video Systems Srl launched the ASAIIS (Advanced Surface AI-based Inspection Solution) project, funded under the Friuli Venezia Giulia Region's A1.3.1 – Proof of Concept call for proposals.

The initiative aims to develop an advanced prototype for the surface analysis of flat and curved surfaces in industrial settings, applicable to different types of materials, including raw and polished metals, glass and wood. The solution uses Artificial Intelligence techniques developed over years of internal research and collaboration with the University of Udine, supported by corporate investments in funded research projects.

The project starts from a TRL4 and aims to complete the research and development of a prototype to reach the testing phase in a relevant environment (TRL6), paving the way for future industrial applications with high technological impact.

Eligible expenditure: €178,634.40

Contribution granted: €125,044.08, equal to 70% of eligible expenditure (of which EU 40%)
