Video Systems takes part in GLASSTEC 2022

Finally is taking place in Düsseldorf GLASSTEC 2022, the most important meeting place for the glass industry 20-23 SeptemberGlasstec, the most important international fair of the glass industry, is going to take place again and Video Systems will be present at Hall 14 | Stand 14G56. It will be the occasion to introduce IMAGO, the comple range of solutions for the glass quality controll developed by the Company.IMAGO, the complete range of solutions by Video Systems for the glass quality controlVideo Systems will present the new catalogue IMAGO, with its 9 high performing solutions developed for a demanding customer who takes in great consideration efficiency, cost-effectiveness and sustainability. All the IMAGO solutions are equipped with AI and IIoT technologies and use special cameras developed according to the needs and requirements of the glass sector; they are also equipped with advanced connectivity technology to grant a remote control of the machines in real time and a reduction of costs. In addition, the ethernet connection of the machines allows the monitoring of the production plant, the collection of production data and the direct connection with the management system for a complete 4.0 production approach.Furthermore, Video Systems can develop tailor made solutions: according to the analysis of customers needs, on the basis of data and production processes we develop models and simulations to provide those tailored solutions that make our customers and its processes unique in the market.Oculus and Vertigo displayed in our standWe are going to display in our stand Oculus and Vertigo, the 2 most successful solutions for the glass quality control. The machines will be at disposal of customers and visitors for demos.OculusOculus is a solution for the detection of cuts and defects on the containers and it is a substitute of the traditional pointing machines. Developed to empower the existing carousel machines on the market, it replaces the traditional pointing solutions with an innovative solution characterized by reduced dimensions. Oculus is completed by MICRO SPOT, the powerful illuminator that issues a light beam that detects he defects also on very heavy bottles. The easy installation and an increasing performance of a rotative empowered with Oculus grants a quick ROI and increases the efficiency and effectiveness in controls.Developed in 2009, today Oculus is the benchmark to upgrade the rotative systems.VertigoVERTIGO is the laboratory contactless quality control systems that monitors:Verticality of the containerCrooked neck deviationLabelling area flatnessContainer roundnessMeasuring and calibrating diametersMeasuring height of containersIt can be used in laboratory or directly on production lines (cold-end) and in the hot-end area for checking. There are many reasons to visit GLASSTEC, we are waiting for you!Book a demo at: sales@videosystems.it

DynComm, the European project for agile manufacturing processes

For a long time Video Systems has been part of different research European projects, where the company provides its 30 year experience in the field of product quality control and process quality control. These are all important occasions to share competences, to study and to grow together with institutions and organizations from different contries of Europe. On October 2021 Video Systems was selected for the second round of the TRINITY demonstration funding, the development of the European project DynComm – Dynamic Collaborative control of Mobile Manipulators for complex picking – that is a project focused on Agile production processes. Video Systems has been selected among many participants coming for many foreign countries and will work with 2 Spanish partners: the lead partner Electrotecnica Alavesa and Ikerland. The main objective of the project is to create a multidisciplinary innovation hub focused on agile production using demonstrators in the areas of robotics, like collaborative robotics, effective user interfaces based on augmented reality and speech, IoT, etc. The very final result will be a one-stop-shop with tools and methods that will help SME to produce according the Agile approach. In the last few months, Video Systems presented the project during 2 important fairs that usually take place in Italy but have an international audience: SamuExpo, Pordenone, the most important event in the mechanical sector, and A&T, Automation & Testing, Turin, the most important fair for quality control and measures. And we are going to present the project during the next SPS -Smart Production Solutions Fair in Parma, 24-26 May, Hall 7 Booth C040.During these events, Video Systems has presented the project to the guests that came along the booth and during a workshop, that was held in Torino on the 7th April. We are proud to be partners of European projects and to provide our experience for the enhancement of production according a “zero defect” approach that affects different manufacturing sectors.
