Video Systems at the METEC fair 2023

Video Systems is going to take part in the incoming edition of METEC, the international fair specialized in the metal sector that takes place in Düsseldorf 12 to 16 JuneVideo Systems couldn’t miss METEC, the world leading appointment in the metals sector that takes place in Düsseldorf 12 to 16 June and that attracts companies, decision makers and researchers involved in the new challenges in the production processes of metals. In our booth Hall 1, booth C46 there will be displayed the solutions and demos designed by Video Systems and explained by our experts. When it refers to the metallurgy industry, Video Systems has a lot to offer, not only because of Adamantis®, the complete range of quality control solutions that integrate artificial vision and AI; but also for its long term efforts in research and the participation to European funded projects such as ZDMP, InterQ and ZDZWAdamantis® for the metal industryAdamantis® is a complete range of sensors, cameras and quality control systems and measuring systems specifically designed and manufactured for use in the hot rolling process and to withstand the severe conditions of the steel environment. Moreover, Adamantis® reduces by 50% the energy requirement compared with the current medium levels of the metal industry: this leads to a progressive reduction in the consumption of energy and a better sustainability in production. For many years Video Systems has been investing in R&D and it is partner of European funded projects - ZDMP, InterQ and ZDZW - that aim to develop new technologies to reduce errors and waste, in other words to move toward a greener production. We look forward to welcoming you at METEC - Düsseldorf | Hall 1 – Booth C46Book an appointment with our team of experts: sales@videosystems.it

Video Systems joins NVIDIA Metropolis to advance vision, AI and robotics applications in manufacturing

Codroipo, 27th March 2023 – Video Systems, a company established in 1993 and specialized in artificial intelligence (AI), AI-enabled vision, and robotics applied in product quality inspection and process control; awarded by IEEE CIS as 2023 Outstanding Organization Award for contributions using computational intelligence for product quality control, today announced it has joined NVIDIA Metropolis, a partner program focused on bringing to market a new generation of vision AI applications. The program nurtures a rich ecosystem and offers powerful developer tools to supercharge vision AI applications that are designed to make the world’s most important spaces and operations safer and more efficient.Video Systems designs and implements advanced artificial vision and intelligence solutions with innovative embedded, edge and distributed high-performing quality inspection systems in a wide range of industrial sectors, especially in the metals, glass, automotive and pharmaceutical sectors. The company is currently working on an integrated platform that puts together vision AI and robots to replace or support human operators in repetitive tasks.NVIDIA Metropolis makes it easier and more cost effective for enterprises, governments and integration partners to use world-class AI-enabled solutions to improve critical operational efficiency and safety problems. The NVIDIA Metropolis ecosystem contains a large and growing breadth of members who are investing in the most advanced AI techniques and most efficient deployment platforms, and using an enterprise-class approach to their solutions. Members can gain early access to NVIDIA platform updates to further enhance and accelerate their AI application development efforts. Further, the program offers the opportunity for members to collaborate with industry-leading experts and other AI-driven organizations.Video Systems is making manufacturing factories greener, enabled to Zero Defect Manufacturing paradigm, safer and more efficient by integrating Video Systems Ingenium® embedded systems based on the NVIDIA Jetson edge AI and robotics platform and NVIDIA TAO Toolkit — with its own in-house algorithms and technology. NVIDIA TAO Toolkit helps building production-quality models faster with no coding required and accelerates Video Systems’ go-to-market efforts.“I believe we are lucky to live in this technological and growing era, and we have in front of us big challenges for a greener environment, climate change management and other challenges in our society. I think all of the people that are engaged in technological and social advances, have a duty to do their best for a better world. Thanks to NVIDIA Metropolis, and using the AI productivity benefits of NVIDIA accelerated computing, Video Systems can focus its efforts on what matters the most to its customers. NVIDIA software development kits cut our initial development time significantly, allowing us to dedicate our technical resources to maximize our effort developing real-time quality inspection solutions for a more sustainable manufacturing sector,” says Alessandro Liani, CEO of Video Systems.

ZDZW project at the A&T fair of Turin with Video Systems

Presenting the European projects during the A&T Automation & Testing fair in TurinIt has just ended a very important edition of A&T - Automation and Testing in Turin, the fair focused on innovation, technologies and 4.0 competences that has welcomed a wide number of visitors at the fair ground where many exhibitors had their booth. The fair has been the occasion for Video Systems to present our new performing solutions for the quality control of processes and products based on AI, robotics and artificial vision. Our quality control systems can be adopted in a wide number of sectors by big as well small companies, because we can make each solution suitable for the factory and production line that will integrate it.During the period of the fair, Video Systems participated also as a speaker at the programme of workshops with the speech “Automatic inspection based on AI for the quality control of semi- finished products for the aerospace and automotive sectors”.And moreover, the fair has been a great opportunity to present, at the booth of Video Systems and during the speech, the Zero Defect Manufacturing and Zero Waste project - ZDZW: goals, activities, opportunities, results and the partners involved together with Video Systems in this challenging project. We focused especially on the activities done to develop innovative solutions in production to comply the principles of Zero Defect Manufacturing and Zero Waste. Together with the partners of the project we are working to find solutions to reduce the production waste and to assure a production without defects: all these goals will allow in general a more efficient production. We are satisfied of the improvements reached working in the European projects and of the effective cooperation with the partners involved in the projects, because we are sharing a challenging path towards a sustainable and technologically advanced future.Follow us for the next updates!
